From Hudson, it's about 10 minutes to licensed cannabis in Bayport

First, the rule: buy in Minnesota, use it in Minnesota

I'd rather lose a sale than have you get in trouble, so this goes first. What you buy at My Dealer is legal in Minnesota only. Don't carry cannabis across state lines, and that includes the I-94 bridge back to Hudson. Wisconsin treats THC (outside of legal hemp) as a controlled substance, and Hudson has its own possession ordinance on top of state law. Every package we sell says it: "This product may be unlawful outside the state of Minnesota."

So plan where you'll use it on this side of the river before you come: a private residence, or private property where the owner is fine with it. Not in the car, not in a park, not in our lot. Getting here from Hudson

From downtown Hudson

Take Second Street (Highway 35) up to I-94 and head west across the St. Croix. Take exit 258, the first exit on the Minnesota side, for Highway 95 toward Lakeland and Stillwater. Go north on 95 about 4 miles, through Lakeland and Lakeland Shores. In Bayport, we're on your right at 243 3rd St N, next to the American Legion and the post office and across from City Hall.

About 10 minutes, 5.7 miles. From North Hudson, about 13 minutes.

The I-94 bridges over the St. Croix are under repair in 2026. I-94 has stayed open, with lane shifts. Check 511 Wisconsin's project page for current traffic impacts.

From Houlton or farther north

Cross on the St. Croix Crossing (Highway 64 into Minnesota Highway 36), take the first exit for Highway 95, and head south. About 7 minutes from Houlton.

Drive time and distance: OpenStreetMap routing (OSRM), checked October 17, 2026, without traffic. Allow extra time when traffic is heavy.

Licensed cannabis vs. a hemp shop

There are shops on the Wisconsin side that call themselves dispensaries. They sell hemp-derived products, which is a different, lower-potency category with different rules. My Dealer is licensed by the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management as a cannabis retailer (license DIS-L24-000241), and our flower is grown as cannabis by licensed Minnesota cultivators and tracked by the state. We carry some hemp-derived products too, and those are labeled as hemp. You can look our license up on OCM's list.

Your first visit

Your Wisconsin ID works. So does any other valid ID on this list.

• 21+ with a valid ID, every visit. A driver's license or state ID from any U.S. state works, and so do a Canadian license or ID, a Tribal ID, a U.S. passport or passport card, or a foreign passport. No one under 21 can come in, even with an adult.
• Paying: cash, or your debit card through our cashless ATM ($3 fee). There's a regular ATM on site too. No credit cards.
• Loyalty: give us your phone number at checkout and you earn 3% back in points, plus access to member deals.
• Discounts: veterans and active military get 15% off every day, and Andersen employees get 10% off on Tuesdays, with valid ID. Discounts don't stack; you get the best one for your cart.
• Limits: Minnesota caps one purchase at 2 ounces of flower, 8 grams of concentrate (vapes count here), and 800 mg of THC in edibles and hemp THC products combined.
• No consumption on site. We're a retail store only, and there's no place to use cannabis at My Dealer.
